Who am I?
I’m a product leader, mentor, philanthropist and lifelong learner who’s spent the last 15+ years navigating the messy middle between strategy and execution.
My career started hands-on in data centers, installing servers and solving problems where uptime actually mattered. From there, I moved into the world of project management, managing large scale projects within data centers and physical infrastructure of the CME Group. Eventually, I helped develop an IT asset management program that resulted in millions in cost savings. Along the way I learned how to led cross-functional teams and deliver real-world outcomes.
Today, I’m a Product Manager at RF Code, where I own long-term product strategy, align stakeholders across sales, marketing, engineering, and deployment, and champion ideas that turn customer pain points into scalable solutions. Understanding customer needs from my experience as a Sales Engineer, I have a unique skill set translating between technical teams, business leaders and customers. I have been privileged to speak at multiple industry conferences including Data Center World and Data Center Dynamics.
In 2021 I accomplished a long-term dream of mine and earned an Executive MBA from Northern Illinois University. In doing so, becoming a double Huskie with my Bachelors degree from NIU as well in 2009.
Outside of work, my love for my alma mater is deep. I serve as President of the Northern Illinois University Alumni Association Board of Directors and remain deeply involved in alumni and community leadership. A function of the role of President includes an active Director role with the Northern Illinois University Foundation. In addition, I have spent multiple years as the President of the NIU Marching Band Alumni Network, overseeing many events and fundraisers for the current marching band students.
I believe service sharpens leadership and that the best careers are built by people who give back while moving forward.
Along the way, I’ve seen firsthand how transformative it can be when someone helps you connect the dots, avoid unnecessary scars, and see your own potential more clearly. That’s why I mentor professionals who are trying to grow into leadership, pivot into product or tech-adjacent roles, or simply feel more confident navigating their careers.
